Alec Kliphouse did his best to jumpstart the offense for the South Forsyth War Eagles Varsity, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
West Forsyth HS had no answer for Ben Ferrer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. West Forsyth HS managed just two hits off of Ferrer, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during his six innings of work.
Jay Thompson got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed one run over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered two hits.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as West Forsyth HS scored two runs on a two-run home run by Mason McWhorter.
In the fourth inning, the South Forsyth War Eagles Varsity pushed across their only run of the day on a solo home run by Kliphouse.
